On Saturday, September 23rd, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Wood Buffalo will host our highly anticipated 8th Annual SMS Equipment Wine Auction “Bodega” in support of the safe and caring mentorship we provide to children and youth in our region in need of a positive role model.
This year, enjoy an evening out at the Bodega and immerse yourself in a vibrant atmosphere with live Latin music that will get your blood flowing and your feet moving! As they do every year, the Wine Auction’s main bars will still feature incredible wine selections but for 2017 we’ve added a new option to buy an entire bottle of wine to share with your friends as you sit in one of the intimate lounge areas.
This amazing night isn’t just for wine connoisseurs – in the past few years, craft beers, champagne, and whisky have also been added to the main bars! Or if you love having a glass of wine but don’t consider yourself a wine aficionado, the Wine Auction is the perfect place to try something new – maybe you will find a new favorite to add to your personal collection from the silent auction or The Wine Pavilion – new for 2017!
The Wine Pull sold out in 2016 so this year, buy your Wine Pull ticket(s) early in the night and join other guests vying to guess which bottle is the most unique or expensive bottle of wine disguised in the Wine Pull racks. The best part is every player is a winner in this exciting event activity – everyone who plays takes home a bottle valued the same or more than the ticket price!
